Bergeson, LLP announces affiliation with James C. Otteson of Agility IP Law

Bergeson, LLP, a leading Silicon Valley litigation firm, is pleased to announce its affiliation with James C. Otteson, the founder of Agility IP Law, a new firm dedicated to the delivery of high end intellectual property litigation services in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Agility IP Law will share office space with Bergeson, LLP in San Jose, California.

Before founding Agility IP Law in January 2010, Mr. Otteson was an IP litigation partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he practiced for over 17 years. At Wilson Sonsini, Mr. Otteson litigated patent, trade secret and other cases involving many different technologies, including semiconductors, semiconductor packaging, computer hardware and software, nutritional supplements, Internet and e-commerce, biomedical devices, and footwear. He has a particular expertise in the litigation and trial of complex patent cases, especially in the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC), where he has tried multiple cases for both complainants and respondents. Mr. Otteson was the Head of ITC Litigation at Wilson Sonsini before leaving to start Agility IP Law.
